Whole Wheat Vegetable Pizza (Dairy-Free)


1 1/4 cups water
2 T apple sauce
2 T OJ
2 T honey
3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 T basil
1/2 T oregano
1 tsp salt
1 T active-dry yeast
  • Place ingredients in pan according to manufacturers instructions
  • Set machine for dough cycle
  • Divide the dough into 2 
  • place each piece on a pizza pan, sprayed lightly with cooking spray
  • let rise for 30-45 minutes
  • preheat oven to 500
  • roll out dough to fit pans
  • prebake the crust for 5 minutes, on bottom rack
  • turn oven down to 425
  • remove crust from oven, and add toppings such as tomato sauce, spinach, broccoli, olives, mushrooms, onions, peppers, parmesan "cheese"
  • bake for another 10 minutes
