1 1/2 tsp salt
6 T sugar
2 T agave
5 T applesauce
3 flax seed eggs
1 cup water
2 heaping tsp dry-active yeast
- place all ingredients in bread machine pan, dry ones first
- If it is humid or raining outside, use less water (about 3/4 cup)
- set machine for whole wheat dough cycle
- when dough is ready, preheat oven to 200 and then turn oven off
- divide dough into six equal parts, adding flour if necessary
- form two braided challahs and place in 2 greased loaf pans
- place them in the oven and let them sit for 30 min
- remove the pans and preheat oven to 350
- bake for 25-30 minutes
