Chocolate Chip Granola Bars

6 cups instant oats (or rolled oats chopped up in a food processor)
2 cup brown rice krispies
2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup applesauce
6 T sunflower seed butter, almond butter, or peanut butter
1/2 cup agave
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

  • Preheat oven to 325
  • Mix all ingredients well
  • Spread onto Jelly roll pan
  • Using slightly wet hands, press mixtures into pans firmly
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bars are firm and light brown around the edges
  • Allow to cool before cutting
