Gluten-free Hamentashen

3 1/2 cups almond flour or ground almonds
1/4 cup cocoa or carob powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup applesauce
1/2 cup agave
raspberry jam or Chocolate chips

  • Combine all ingredients except the jam/chocolate chips
  • Mix well and refrigerate for an hour
  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Form tablespoon sized balls of dough and place on non-stick baking sheet
  • Flatten each ball to form circles
  • Drop a small amount of jam (or chocolate chips) in the middle of each circle
  • Fold up sides to form hamentashen
  • Bake for 13 minutes
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool completely
