1/4 cup cocoa or carob powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup applesauce
1/2 cup agave
raspberry jam or Chocolate chips
- Combine all ingredients except the jam/chocolate chips
- Mix well and refrigerate for an hour
- Preheat oven to 350
- Form tablespoon sized balls of dough and place on non-stick baking sheet
- Flatten each ball to form circles
- Drop a small amount of jam (or chocolate chips) in the middle of each circle
- Fold up sides to form hamentashen
- Bake for 13 minutes
- Remove from oven and allow to cool completely
